You are welcome to arrange a postal hire of our carriers, subject to availability (current stock can be seen in the catalogue here).
We do it by email and with Royal Mail (tracked service) to ensure your carrier arrives and that get the help and support that you need with your hire while you have it. While we do not charge deposits at our Sheffield library sessions, we do for postal hire. These are refundable on safe return of the carrier, and some special or rare items are not available on postal loans, as we are sure you can understand.

You will need to confirm that you have read the Terms and Conditions and say in your email that you are happy to abide by them.
The deposit will be for the price of replacement of the carrier and needs to be sent by goods and services paypal – this will be refunded in full on return of the carrier if it is in the same condition that it was hired out to you.
The hire fees are very similar to those for local users; £5.40 for the first week and £2.80 for each week after (also by goods and services paypal) Post out to you is by special delivery which you will need to cover, it is usually about £8.55, and you’ll need to send back by the same method, please.
Hire fees and the postage costs are also paid by goods and services paypal (a separate payment) which is not refunded.
